This event is focused on increasing youth sports participation and equipping volunteer coaches with the tools they need to ensure all kids—regardless of background—have access to programs that foster growth, teamwork, and belonging. Currently, children in Boston’s most underserved neighborhoods are not benefiting from youth sports at the same rate as their more affluent peers, and this event aims to address that disparity.

At the symposium, participants will attend workshops and connect with local sports organizations actively recruiting volunteer coaches. We’ll also host a dynamic panel featuring 2-3 sports professionals.
